If you are connecting your foreign e-shop then you will need to pair the categories and parameters from your source e-shop (data import) with the categories and parameters of your target e-shop (data export). This is the only way to ensure that the products will be exported to the desired categories that already exist on your foreign e-shop.

If you do not pair categories and parameters before exporting, then when you export the data, the categories and parameters will be created again in your target e-shop.

Pairing items is only done if you have a source e-store and a target e-store each separate. If you are using a multi-language e-shop and therefore have the languages in one administration, item pairing is not performed

After you have done the LINK YOUR E-SHOPS and LOCALIZE products, you can get started right away.

The best way for us and for you is to create an empty e-shop with no categories and no products - we will create the categories and export the translated products immediately.

How to pair products with the right categories and parameters?

• • Option 1: If your product has an unpaired category, it will fall into an "error" when exporting
    • An error message will appear with information about the unpaired category or parameter and a link to the "pairing" function. There you can manually pair them.
• Option 2: You can call the "Pair items" action in the export connection list.

• Option 3: In the category listing, pair the categories manually or with AI pairing

What if there are multiple items to pair?

If you have multiple items to pair, we recommend doing a bulk pairing of categories/parameters using the Pair All with AI action.

1. In administration, go to Settings → Connections → Export Connections
2. In Actions, select Pair items.
