We have prepared a tutorial on how to upload alternative and related products from the source connection to the destination connection (from one Shoptet to another Shoptet).

In order to manually sync alternative and related products, you must have the IDs of these products uploaded in the target connection as well. You cannot add as a related or alternative item a product ID that does not exist on the target connection.

Step 1 - Create an export of related and alternate products

1. Login to your source Shoptet e-shop
2. Go to Products -> Export
3. Create a custom export type
4. Fill in the name (mandatory)
5. In the Additional Information section, select and check Related Product Code and Alternate Product Code.

1. Save the custom export template
2. Go back to Export products
3. Select the template you created
4. Click the Export button

1. The generated file will be saved on your computer.

Step 2 - Import alternative and related products

1. Login to your target Shoptet e-shop
2. Go to Products -> Import
