The import connection is used to set up the connection between the external system and the LOCO APP so that product data can be accessed.

Multiple import connection types can be set up in different languages. WARNING: In this case, it is necessary to keep in mind that the same identifiers do not appear for different products within different import sources (then the product data would be randomly overwritten).

Import connection settings

• Custom translation setting

  • Default settings: All imported product text types sent for translation are translated.
  • If the function is overridden, the marked texts will be sent for translation. Unmarked texts will not be translated, but you need to ensure that these texts are not exported, otherwise the export will show errors.

  

• Setting regular import

  • Default setting: regular import is not set, the import is done manually with the "Start import" action from the product overview.
  • If the function is set, new products will be imported and existing products will be updated according to the set time interval.

  

Feed requirements

• Product ID
• Product Name
• Long Description
• Brands - they are detected in the text and are not translated
• Short Description

• Category
• Price - can be adjusted for the target country with simple rules
