In the Product Preview action, you get a view of the product's source data as well as the current status of translation, export, and automation.

Grouping Data into Individual Blocks

Product Status

The current status of the product based on the source. A product can be active or inactive.

If you’ve made a manual localization correction for a product, that language will be marked as “Reviewed”.

Note: A “reviewed translation” will disconnect that language version of the product from future localization updates.

Product Descriptions

Contains the basic text descriptions of the product in the source language.

When switching the preview to another language, the translation status of individual texts is also shown.

Media

Photos imported from the source via URL links.

Variants

Detailed information about product variants (identifiers, variant descriptions, stock, prices).

Translation

Contains information about:

• The product's source language
• A list of languages the product was sent for translation into, including the current translation status and quality rating.

Export

Contains information on where the product has been exported, including the current export status.

Categories

A list of categories in the source language.

When previewing a translated language, you’ll also see the translation status of each category.

Parameters

A list of parameter names and values in the source language.

When switching to a translated language, you’ll see the translation status of both parameter names and values.

Automation Rules

Contains a list of automation rules that apply to and affect the product (translation / export / translation update / translation blocking)

Direct Editing of Translated Texts

When hovering over a text section (phrase), the phrase is highlighted and can be edited directly by clicking.

After clicking on the phrase detail, you can edit the phrase in a modal window and set the type of edit, which determines where the changes will apply.

• By default, the edit is also made in the Translation Memory, meaning changes will apply to both future and historical products. The update for other products may appear with a short delay.
• In the “Check Related Phrases” section, the system will suggest other occurrences of the changed phrase. By clicking on the “Number of Occurrences,” you can review them in a new window.

Translation Status in the Product Preview

In each language version of the product, you can see the translation status of individual product parts.

Localization statuses include:

• AUTO – text translated using the AUTO level.
• AUTO – text pending completion of AUTO translation.
• PRO – text translated using the PRO level.
