The Pairing action should be used when you have connected your target e-shop on which you have already set up and are using the original categories.

This action creates links between the categories of the source and target e-shop. The pairing function will prevent the possible problem with duplication of categories on your target e-shop.

Alternatively, you have the alternative option to set the export connection to "Set product category", to which all newly exported products on your target e-shop will be assigned. At this point, you do not need to pair categories.

With multi-language, you only export texts to existing categories and parameters (no need to match anything here).
