🔀 Export to a separate international instance

You have one or more e-shops on separate international domains.

In this case, you need to install the add-on “Automatic Product Translations” on each e-shop individually. It works as follows:

  1. The add-on on the source e-shop acts as the so-called “Source Store,” meaning the e-shop from which we take the source data and texts for translation. This must always be installed first!
  2. The add-on on the international e-shop acts as the so-called “Destination Store,” which is the e-shop where we will list the translated products in a foreign language. !The texts in the international e-shop must be in the language you want to translate into! If your texts are not translated, contact us. The ideal scenario is when your destination e-shop is empty—without products, categories, or filter parameters. We will translate the products and simultaneously create the categories in the target language.

You must also be on a paid Shoptet plan for the add-on to be available.

<aside> 👆 Products will be listed based on the source e-shop—either into already existing categories or we will create them according to the source e-shop. You can also map categories from your source e-shop to categories in the destination e-shop. See How to pair categories and parameters with products in LOCO?

<aside> ⚠️ When listing products on the target e-shop, the system also checks for duplicate variants. If duplicate variants are detected, those products cannot be listed on the target e-shop. You must first edit the duplicate product in your source Shoptet e-shop.
