ℹ️
When browsing products between separate instances of Shoptet, you have two options for working with price:
</aside>
-
Not listing prices
- The product will be created with a price value of "0" on the target instance. Products with a zero price will not appear on your target instance until you manually set the price.
-
List prices in the default currency of the source e-shop
- To properly list prices to the target e-shop, you need to activate and set up the Foreign Currencies add-on in your Shoptet e-shop.
- If you use the Foreign Currencies add-on the price will be listed in the default currency of the source e-shop. The conversion to the target currency will occur in your Shoptet e-shop based on the exchange rate set in the Foreign Currencies add-on.
- Creating a new currency in Shoptet e-shop
- In your Shoptet e-shop go to Settings -> Basic Settings -> Currencies
- Click on the Add button and select the currency.
- Select the currency for your target e-shop
- In the settings, you can select a static or dynamic exchange rate for conversion
- Save the settings

⚠️
If you list products with a price for the first time and then make an adjustment in the currency settings in Shoptet, this change will only affect new products.
