When browsing products between separate instances of Shoptet, you have two options for working with price:

  1. Not listing prices

  2. List prices in the default currency of the source e-shop

    If you list products with a price for the first time and then make an adjustment in the currency settings in Shoptet, this change will only affect new products.

    Adjustment of the VAT rate for multi-instance on Shoptet

    On the target (export) connection, you have two options to bulk adjust the VAT rate.

    You have the same VAT rate for all products

    1. Log into your Shoptet export connection administration.
    2. Go to Settings → Basic Settings → Taxes
    3. Go to the Tax rates tab.
    4. Click on the name of the rate you have assigned to all products
    5. In editing, first change the rate amount and then the Save

This setting will change the amount of VAT for all products where the rate has been set. This setting can affect all pricing, so check the prices for products after saving.

You have different VAT rates for products

  1. Login to your Shoptet export administration connection.
  2. Go to Products → Export
  3. In Exports, select Create custom export type.
  4. Fill in the name and in Main Price List tick % VAT
  5. Save the export
  6. Go back to the previous page and select the file you created and go to Export
  7. The file will download to your computer
  8. Open the file and adjust the VAT rates to the correct value
  9. Save the changes
  10. Import the file back into your Shoptet administration
  11. In your administration, go to Settings → Import
