Overview of automatic rules

The system can automatically handle newly imported products based on set rules. Essentially, it works on the basis of finding a match in the set rule. e.g. translate all products that have the parameter "For translation: OK" etc.

The rule can be temporarily "Paused" or permanently "Archived".

In the "Products" column, you can see the control number of products that match the currently imported products. The second number shows the number of products to which the rule has historically been applied.

Rule Status

Run - the rule is active and automation is ongoing

Paused - the rule is paused and automation is not ongoing

<aside> ℹ️ Each account, by default, has two predefined rules (Localize all products and Export all products). These rules are paused until you assign them to an export connection or set their launch manually in automation editing.

Setting automatic rules

The setting of automatic rules takes place in three steps. A new rule can be invoked from the overview of automatic rules by clicking the "Create rule" button.

1. "Product Filter" Step
   • Basic settings
     • Name: Choose a descriptive name for the rule, e.g. "Translation to SK"
     • Action: In this step, carefully choose which action (block/translate/export) the rule should perform. This property cannot be changed retroactively
   • Product filter
     • Select the product selection options to which the rule will be applied. Filter settings can also be left empty, it will then apply to all products.
     • Filter setting options (dependent on your product data)
       • Product IDs, brand, parameters, warehouse from/to, source, translated using a project, products in a language, mandatory texts
2. "Product List" Step
   • Control view to make sure the filter settings are correct. You can also see the number of products and specific products that will be affected by the automatic rule (except for blocked products).
